Options that suit you
Sometimes the “getting started” part presents a “Catch 22” dilemma. You need systems and a footprint in place to promote and build your business, but it’s difficult to fund your footprint until you’ve built your business.
At Startup Basics, we get it, so we’ve come up with ways to help you get started with baby steps like staggered rollouts and payment plans.
We look at things like what type of business you’re starting, which admin features you might need, whether your website will require e-commerce or bookings features. Stage 1 might include:
- a basic informational website
- an email address
- business cards
- a couple of forms
- promotional flyers
- a way to invoice your customers
Rome wasn’t built in a day, so during this phase, we discuss your needs for various stages of your rollout and narrow down your requirements for Stage 1 of launch.
Once your requirements have been locked in, we can:
- determine costs for Stage 1
- put together an action plan
- create a payment schedule tailored to your budget.
This will generally consist of a fixed % deposit at commencement of works, progress instalments at various project benchmarks and instalments by direct debit over a set period of between 4 and 16 weeks.
These plans can vary depending on your project.
We are not a credit provider and do not conduct credit enquiries.
Instalment plans are processed through a direct debit service.
All you need is one, or a combination of the following, depending on the final scope of work:
- Mastercard credit or debit card
- Visa credit or debit card
- Afterpay availability

Your website will be published so you can start promoting your services during the instalment plan phase of your project.
Once you’re ready, we can move on to Stage 2, which might include the addition of some promotional materials, marketing campaigns and the addition of bookings or e-commerce to your website.
